Ben Graduates from high school - May 2010

There he is in a sea of blue with his San Pasqual classmates.

The fateful march begins.

It's really going to happen.

He did it. He's a grad now. No turning back.

Congratulations Ben. We're (righteously) proud of you. Welcome to the rest of your life. Parents did a great job launching their firstborn. Is it possible it's really here? Love you, Ben.

Dallin's Last Parade

Hi Everyone!
Just to let you all know if you would like to see me march in my last parade, I will be marching with the Orem High School Marching Band on July 5th in the Provo Freedom Festival Parade. The parade starts at 9:00 AM (or maybe 10:00 AM, I can't remember exactly) and members of my family will be going early to save spots. We normally sit just south of the parking structure next to the Provo county courthouse.

It will be fun to see you there!

Ben receives Eagle rank in scouting.

Jake and Jared escort Heidi to the stand.

Official recommending Ben to the Court.

Happy moment of accomplishment for both!

Pretty nice.

Memorial Day weekend 2010

The gathering to remember our loved ones.

Maggie brought back memories of when I visited the cemetery at this age...

and did this!

Cutie!

Surprise, surprise!

We were thrilled that the inefficiencies of the airline industry made it possible for us to have a quick surprise visit with Heidi, Anthony, Ben, Chelsea and Jacob.  Here are some pictures from our convergence at Johnny Carino's in West Jordan.

I don't know who this guy in black is... just some handsome stranger, I guess.

I don't know how Ben managed to escape my camera.   Rrrg.   I'll get you next time!

The siblings are full of anticipation.

Big changes are just around the corner for Alex.

These two look pretty excited.

They can hardly wait.

Practicing up.

Here's the evidence - it's really true.

Yes, here is the radiant, expectant one.

Heidi with one of her Young Women on activity night.

Shapely, eh?

These various views are to fill Holly's request about her sister. Here shown with her daily study near roses from her garden.

Ooops. Thought I was getting the other one. Well I think this is worth seeing again.

Memorial Day pictures

Here are some pictures that I took when some of the family convened at the Salt Lake Cemetery on Memorial Day.
