Merry Christmas from the Thompson SISTERS! :)

Since Christmas in California isn't quite...snowy..or even the least bit cold, I took the liberty to wear shorts on Christmas! I did keep it festive with my fancy Christmas socks though...(thanks Craig!) Lydia was as cute as ever in her "1st Christmas" PJs. Merry Christmas from the Thompson sisters!! (thats fun to say:) )

Views from October General Conference

It feels so good to sing the songs of Zion together.

We love General Conference!

Lizzy tucked her beautiful hair into a saucy hat.

What a love!

Artistry in nature. Charlotte did it again!

Lizzy wearing Grammy's glasses.

"Train!" "Train!" "Train!" said two-year old Peter as he turned the pages.

Now what could this be? Wow. Birthdays are fun!

Another work of art by Holly

And he blew them out all by himself.

Into their arms she came. First family portrait. Great work, Heidi!

Isn't she beautiful?

And cute?.

Proud father. Great one too.

Cheerful, expectant mommy.

A last splash in the pool.

Here she is! Darling Lydia Grace.

Neat big brothers to watch over her.

OHS Marching Band Family Night

Hello Everybody!

I just wanted to let you all know that tomorrow is my first marching band performance of the season! (sorry for the late notice, but better late than never)

We will be performing in addition to the Timpanogos High School and Payson High School Marching Bands. The program will begin at 7:00 pm at the Mountain View High School Football Stadium. (Mountain View is on Center Street in Orem and about a block or two west of State Street)

Entrance is free.

Once again, sorry for the late notice, but I figured you would like to know. I will not be in the least offended if any are unable to attend. I hope all is going well with all of you, and I hope you can come!

There is a youtube video of our show this year. (it is definitely not our best performance though)
Here is the link:

I'll try to let all of you know about future competitions. (This coming Saturday is the Nebo competition held at Payson High School. For those who are interested, contact me.)

Thanks again!!
-Dallin

P.S. Grammy and Grandpa, this year the band will not be participating in the Davis Cup due to an alternative competition in South Salt Lake County (I'm not sure where exactly). We are doing this mainly because it is shorter distance to travel and is cheaper "bus-wise."

Peter in action

We've gotten a few pictures of Peter, recently, and thought we'd share.  He's just a kid who loves action and adventure.  His favorite past time is waiting for someone to keep the latch on the gate loose, then to make a break for it.  He is usually good enough to wait until someone sees him before he bolts down the sidewalk laughing.

Of course, he has sisters who love to dress him up, as well.  I came home from a jog one day to find that Abby and Lizzy had dressed Peter up in a bee costume and were taking pictures of him on the swing set.

A boy waits for the parade to come.

So that's how they used to do it.

Is this the million-gallon one, John?

Peter loved seeing this photo of the big blue airplane. He asked to see it again and again.

Boy, parades are LOUD.
