Sorry we haven't posted in a while. Schools out! Abby and Lizzy participated in the traditional last-day-of-school dance festival at Wasatch Elementary. Abigail (pictured above) performed the "sink and wiggle" dance with the first graders.  Elisabeth (below) did the "jello dance" with the kindergartners.
We also visited some ancestors on memorial day. Unfortunately, we didn't pull our camera out when we were in Salt Lake visiting the Heath and Collier relatives. However, we did manage to get a picture of Margaret Josephine standing next to the grave marker of one of the ancestors she's named after: Olga Josephine Poulsen Draper, her great-great-great-grandmother.

I (Jacob Sr.) had a job interview with BYU Broadcasting on Friday. I feel good about it. I am definitely hoping to get hired; I'm excited by the prospect of using my talents for a cause that I believe in 100% (which wasn't the case when I made commercials, and wouldn't be the case if I joined the main corps of the film industry.) We'll certainly keep you all informed as soon as I know their decision.

Can you believe how clear this water is?

This looks like the sting ray is in a swimming pool, but it is really in the ocean. We saw so many of these on our outing to "Sting Ray City" off Grand Cayman Island.

What a life! Half-Moon Cay and Grand Turks.

Thought to be the first landing site of Columbus on this island in the Grand Turks and Caicos.

Docked at Grand Turk. This island was hit hard by the hurricanes a year ago or so and many buildings still don't have roofs. The high school classes are still being held in dark-colored UNICEF tents with little ventilation.

Can you see the coconuts growing in this palm tree?

I persuaded Dad to re-enact a famous pose, except the seaweed is much lovelier here.

Half-moon Cay (pronounced "key") was our first stop. We lounged on the beach with all the Strong and Hanni clan. Even the sand is beautifully white.

More of Dad and Mom in the Caribbean

Here are a few fun spring photos. First, our SuperKids (Jacob Jr. and Maggie) caught on film in uniform.  And then our cheerful little Pierre, who is learning to put his arms and legs to use.

Here he is with Miss Elisabeth, enjoying a touch of spring sunshine.

Can you believe the color of this water? I couldn't get over how beautiful it was and it goes for miles and miles! They say the clearness of it is due to the fact that there is very little sediment in the runoff from the cay. Amazing.

Dad and I are on a water taxi going from our cruise ship to Half Moon Cay (pronounced key) in the Bahamas.
