One of these pictures is not like the others.
In addition to getting two cute photographs of Peter Heath Draper on two monumental occasions (viz his 6 month old birthday and his first time eating solids--delicious rice cereal--which happened to occur on the same day) you also get my artistic photograph of colored pencil shavings. (It's amazing what passes for art these days.)

Magic Oranges
Another fun surprise is the wonderful fragrance that fills the air at orange blossom time. When we walked around our yard-to-be, a few days before we moved in, I asked Anthony, "What is that wonderful smell?" He didn't know either. It was still there when we moved in, and we soon found out it was the orange blossoms! There are many orange trees in our neighborhood, and the scent is heavenly! I don't know how long the trees will be in bloom; it has been 24 days since we first smelled them and they are still covered in fragrant blossoms. It's delicious. Aren't Heavenly Father's creations awesome?!
Ben's Wearing an Orange Belt
Ben took at belt test today at Kempo and advanced to the next level. He is now an orange belt. Way to go, Ben!

A few pix from the past
I'm really happy to see the family blog beginning to take flight. I don't think I have current or accurate email addresses for Morgan, Mitch/Gwen, and John/Sharalyn. Would any of you who are already members be willing to either forward their email addresses to me, or send them a note to contact me about receiving an invitation to participate?
Here are some Christmastime photos. (Actually, the nativity show took place in November, I believe.)

Jacob Earns Rank of Second Class Scout
Jacob passed his board of review yesterday, advancing to the rank of Second Class Scout. Good work, Jacob!! He has been working hard with his really cool troop leader (Anthony) and going on some pretty fun campouts. Last Friday/Saturday they camped out in the desert near Borego Springs. They did some hiking and exploring and took in some awesome views.

Chelsea Selected As Student of the Month
We recently received a letter from Chelsea's high school principal, notifying us that she has been selected as the Student of the Month for the Health Science department. Her teacher's comments included,"Chelsea is a great student and person who is helpful and has wonderful energy in her class. She is looked up to by her fellow classmates." The health class she is taking is Athletic Training. It covers in depth health issues related to athletic performance and injury prevention and treatment. Earlier this year Chelsea was also selected Student of the Month for the Math department by her geometry teacher. Congratulations, Chelsea!!!
Kudos to Ben!
Ben finished memorizing the 25 New Testament scripture mastery scriptures yesterday!!! Way to go, Ben!

Hello, family! It is fun to be visiting the Heath Hub! After 6 months without internet service, we are finally online again. We have been in our new house for 10 days and we are loving it. This picture is of our family on the front porch the day we moved in. We look forward seeing pictures and hearing about family experiences frequently on this blog. (Thanks, Big Jacob, for setting it up!) Sure love all of you!
One last post for the day.
Now that Heidi and family have the internet at home, she and Holly talked about this blog. Hopefully the time has come to bring it to life!
We'd love to see photos and get updates from everyone. Even though most of us live fairly close to each other, we don't get to see each other THAT often.
So, here are some pictures of us.
